JAPAN'S ATTITUDE TO PEACE
SUGGESTIONS
(Received November 16, 9 ajn.) TOKIO, November 15. The correspondent of the Australian Associated Press asked for Japan's attitude towards peace suggestions. The Foreign Office spokesman replied: "W6 are expecting sOrrie wOfld leaders to come forward 'with proposals. We are unable to state our attitude till we see them,, but anyhow the possibility of the success of such ah approach depends on convincing the Chinese that they must Completely change their attitude towards Japan and negotiate direct with Japan,"
