OTAKI HEALTH CAMD
"SHOP DAY" PLANNED
Members of the Ladies' Auxiliary of the Otaki Health Camp held a delightful outing recently, when they visited the Health Camp for the purpose of discussing with the matron the immediate needs of the camp in the way of linen, blankets, and c'othing. It was agreed that this cloaa contact afforded the auxiliary opportunities of viewing the results of their work in Wellington on behalf of the children. Many useful suggestions were made, and it was decided for the immediate future to concentrate efforts on boys' and girls' clothing.
Mrs. C. J.- Burnett presided over a meeting in the association's rooms recently. Mrs. A. J. Barr Brown was welcomed to the committee, and Mesdames Little, Land, Smith, and Williams were thanked for their contributions. Mrs. Burnett and Mrs Meachen (hon. secretary) reported their, attendance at the Centennial Exhibition committee meetings. It is proposed to hold a "shop day" on December 3, and members expressed the hope that Wellington citizens will again support their efforts on behalf of the children.
