VISIT TO ENGLAND

British destroyers and aeroplanes will meet the Belgian steamer Prince Albert, in. which the King of the Belgians is crossing to England for a State visit, half-way across the Channel and escort it into Dover. The Duke of Gloucester will welcome King Leopold at Dover, and in company with the Belgian Ambassador, will travel with a special Royal train to London. King George and members of: the Royal Family. Lord Crewe as Lord Lieutenant of the County of London, Mr. Neville Chamberlain', Mr. Anthony Eden, and Sir Samuel Hoare, on behalf of the Government, Sir Robert Clive, British Ambassador to Brussels, the Lord Mayor of London, and chiefs of the defence forces and others will welcome King Leopold at Victoria Station. The two Kings will then drive by carriage to Buckingham Palace, and jn the evening their Majesties will give a State banquet at the Palace. The State visit will end on Friday, and the programme/ engages the whole of the time of the visiting monarch. It will include an inspection of the sth Royal Inniskilling Dragoon Guards at Colchester on Thursday, when King Leopold's speech will be broadcast. It is expected that King Leopold will invite the King and Queen to ■ Brussels next spring.
