Spears, \yho for the past five years has been vice-president and » chairman of the resident executive committee of the New Zealand Manufacturers' Federation, was last evening unanimously nominated by a meeting of the Wellington Association as its nominee for the office of Dominion ■ president of the federation for the coming year.- The annual conference of the federation will be held in Wellington early'in December.
