MANUFACTURERS' FEDERATION
Mr., J. T. Spears, \yho for the past five years has been vice-president and » chairman of the resident executive committee of the New Zealand Manufacturers' Federation, was last evening unanimously nominated by a meeting of the Wellington Association as its nominee for the office of Dominion ■ president of the federation for the coming year.- The annual conference of the federation will be held in Wellington early'in December. Speakers at the meeting said that the nomination was an expression of the association's appreciation of the good service rendered by Mr. Spears during the five years of his vice-presidency of the federation and as past-president and present member of the Wellington^ Association's executive."
