The yacht Westward, wly fch has been lent by its owner, Mr. Hjcrbld Heates Hales, to bring stores to .t^ttelton for the proposed British expedition to the Antarctic, will leave Plymfjpth on December 14 for Lyttelton Y'ia Panama, returning to England via CJgpe of Good Hope. Most of the memjbers of the expedition will participai lie in the cruise. !

The expedition is expected to reach Lyttelton in December, 1938), to pick up the stores. It will then i:o to Wood Bay, Victoria Land, one objective being the finding of the ;«.qastline of Oates Land.
