TROUT-FISHING

OPENING OF SEASON

* (By Telegraph.) (Special to the "Evening Post.")

TURANGI, This Day.

The trout-fishing season opened in fine but windy weather. The Tongariro River is low, but in good order. A fair! number of anglers are on! the river, and quite a few limit bags have: been obtained. The fish are in fair average November condition and seem fairly well, distributed in the various favourite pools. Taylor's Camp is busy, and more anglers are expected. .
