CONCESSIONS OBTAINED IN

AFGHANISTAN

Germany has obtained concessions for exploiting minerals in Afghanistan, according to the metal industry journal "Metal and Ore," which says that a new company has just been registered called "Afghanistan Mines, Limited," under joint German and Afghan management. The purpose of the company is to prospect and exploit minerals of all kinds.
