TEPUNI

(To tne Editor.)

Sir,—ln your edition, October 30, there is an interesting article concerning "A n Old Woodcut." The' writer, "H.D.G.," refers to the old Maori chief Epuni (is not the correct name Tepuni?) and a presentation of a silver vase made to him. He comments concerning the present whereabouts of the vase. If "H.D.G." is sufficiently interested to refer to me, I think I can give him the information. —I am, etc., W. G. MORPETH (Box 857).
