MR. JAMES ROBERTSON
Mr. James Robertson, a well-known Wellington personality,l died yesterday at Eastbourne; at the age of 70 years. He was the eldest son of'the late Mr. David Robertson- -formerly proprietor of the Phoenix' Foundry, of Old Customhouse Quay (now.Bond Street). The late Mr. Robertson was associated with his father in "the business, but when his father died the foundry was closed and therinachinery^ arid''stocky ivyere bought by Messrs. W. Cable and Co., of Kaiwarra, arid Mr. James Robertson and his brother. David. : entered the employment of! that firm. ' •
Mr. Robertson leaves a widow and two sons, Messrs. David and Alex. Robertson/ 'both Of whoni are on the staff of Messrs: John Duthie and Co., Willis Street, Wellington.
