RUSSIAN SOVIET BUŢER.
In the year 1936, states Weddel and Co., London, exports of butter from the Soviet Republics totalled ■ 23,174 tons, of which 20,957 tons were shipped to Great Britain. In the previous year the exports were 27,950 tons, and m 1934. 37.300 tons. Up to the end of June this year arrivals in England from the Soviet Union-are smaller than last year. The reason given for. declining export is that more "butter<it' being consumed within : the country. -
