During the weekend the Shandon ladies played the first and second rounds of the club championship. The following are the results:— Seniors.—Mrs. Burke beat Mrs. Ryan, 3 and 1; Mrs. Frazer beat Mrs. Evisoii. 6 and 4; Mrs. Mantell beat Miss Hodgins, 4 and 3; .and in the second round. Miss Robinson beat Mrs. Burka, 1 up; Mrs. Mantell beat Mrs. Frazer, 6 and 4. . .. ~ Juniors.—Mrs. .Hipkins beat .Mrs. Findlay. 7 and 5: Miss Read beat Miss Gaynor, 6 and 5; Miss Campbell beat Mies Ellison. 5 and 4; Miss Smith beat Miss Sidford. 1 up: ana? in the second round Mrs. Hipkins beat Miss Read, 1 up: Miss Smith beat Miss Campbell, 2 and 1. .The .final *!,• the Forbes Cup was
played on Saturday. Miss Robinson beating, Mrs. King, 3 and 2. A medal round played on Sunday was woji by Miss A. Gaynor, 94, 21—73 net.
