DRUG HOUSES OF AUSTRALIA PROFITS. . ♦ ' The accounts of Drug Houses of Aus tralia, Ltd., and its six subsidiaries, fo: the year ended June 30, show tha £174,520 was earned as profit for tht parent company, compared witl £171,030 the previous year, ant £141,890 in 1934-35. This is the bes result since the company was formet in' 1930 to amalgamate six ' leatfinj wholesale drug businesses. The 1 divi dend of 6i per cent., an increase o one-half of one per cent on the previ ous year's distribution, require; £158,590. The latest profit is equiva lent to 7.2 per cent, on the paid-m. capital of £2,439,910. FELT AND TEXTILES ISSUE. Felt and Textiles Ltd. is making a new issue of 178,927 ordi nary shares of £1 each at par, to b< offered to orunary shareholders ir the proportion of one for every tw< shares held.
