CAR CONVERSION

The tailing of a "baby" car front outside the Crow's Nest Cabaret early on- the morning of September 26 resulted in the appearance before Mr. W. F. Stilwell, SJWT., in the Magistrates Court today of Leonard Charles Roffe and Harold Jack Kent. They pleaded guilty to a joint charge of converting a car. valued at £100, the property of Percy Scott. Detective-Sergeant P. Doyle, whtf prosecuted, said the car was found by, the police, undamaged, in a city street. The accused admitted the offence. The accused were fined £25 each, in default three months' imprisonment. Applications for the suppression of their names were refused.
