BAD STATE AT DUNEDIN

"In my thirty-four years' experience I have never known the footwear manufacturing industry to be in such a bad state as now," stated the manager of a big Dunedin firm, endorsing the Auckland report (published on page 15). He added that he had to put off twenty hands recently.
