The Peak country of Derbyshire is the subject of Arthur Mee's "Derbyshire," which has been published by Hodder and Stoughton. Over 200 places in this fascinating part of Ehgland are described with much wealth of interesting detail and with well over 100 photographs. As the cover states: "There have been many books on Derbyshire, but never one like this."
An up-to-date edition of H. V. Morton's "Guide to London" has been issued by Methuen. This was originally published in 1926 and proved in great demand.
