A HANDY HINT
To remove dints from ping-pong (table tennis) balls, simply pour some boiling water into a small basin or tin, and place the ball, with the dint downwards, into the water so that the ball is partly submerged in the water. You will find that after you have held the ball there for a few seconds the dint will disappear. This is due to the air inside the ball expanding*
