The weather was wintry, with southerly squalls and light showers, but the course was in splendid condition and there was a good attendance. Results:— Tomoana Highweight Handicap, £110; 1 mile 1 furlong.—s fiuster Brown (Lord), 9.4, 1; 4 Umpire (McGovern), 9.12, 2; 2 Black Fox (Anderson), 9.10, 3. Scr: Trackman. Two lengths; two and a half lengths. Time, lmin 56sec. Trial Stakes, £100; 5J furlongs.—2 Lindrum (Young), 8.0, 1; 5 Reasonable (Forsythe), 8.0, 2; Amoroso (Anderson), 3. Scr; Winitanga, Niibis. Two lengths; two lengths. Time, lmin 8 2-ssec.
