NEW-BORN TWINS
SOS FOR HUMAN MILK
(Received September 20, 9.30 a.m.)
LONDON, September 19.
A most touching SOS which was broadcast last night appealed for human milk for new-born twins in Wells, Norfolk, whose mother was unable to feed them. A Chelmsford woman answered the appeal, and her husband rushed her 90 miles by ear, but they were too late. One baby died an hour after their arrival and the other early in the morning.
