AUCKLAND, September 19. The Auckland Association football team gained a comfortable victory over Wellington in the annual contest for the Frank Campbell Rose Bowl by 4 goals to 1. Wellington was the previous holder of the trophy. The match was; played in perfect conditions, but provided a poor exhibition. Angus, Sims. ~McCallum, and Farnam scored for Auckland, and Webster for Wellington.
