MRS. MARY MCDONNELL
The death occurred recently of Mrs. Mary McDonnell, one of the bestknown and highly-respected residents of Ngaio, at the age of 69 years. Mrs. McDonnell was born at Ngaio and spent the whole of her life in the district where her kindly nature endeared her to everybody with whom she came into contact. Although not enjoying the best of health for some years past, she was always bright and cheerful and her passing will be mourned by a host of friends. Mrs. McDonnell, whose husband predeceased her some years ago, is survived by five daughters and one son; Miss McDonnell, Ngaio; Mrs. Robinson, Wanganui; Mrs. Chapcott and Mrs. Sutton, Khandallah; Mrs. Anderson, Wellington, and Mr. E. McDonnell, Ngaio.
