DISCOVERY OF DEPOSIT

ROME, September 17,
The Prime Minister, Signor Musso« lini, received Signor Guiseppe Tallarieo, who claims to have discovered petroleum in Calabria and presented a small bottle of oil which he declared was of excellent quality.
Signor Tallarieo is deputy in the Italian Parliament.
It is reported that a company will be formed to exploit the deposit, which is the first found in Italy.
