KOROKORO CLUB
The seventeenth annual meeting1 of the Korokoro Tennis Club was held recently, Mr. J. Meachen presiding.
It was decided to open the season on September 18, and to hold a dance on the opening night.. ' . ... Mrs. M. Meachen, who has been with the club for many years, was elected a life member. , ' ' ' The retiring treasurer. Miss Olive McMillan, was thanked for. her splendid service to the club during the six years she has held office. It was decided to make her a presentation. The election of officers resulted as follows:—Patron, the Hon. W. Nash; president, Mr. G. Jones; life members, Messrs. H. E. Fleet, A. T. Flux, and B. W X Fleet; vice-presidents, Messrs. J. Huggan, G. London, H. Fahey, L. Clement, J. McNeill, J. McMillan, H. Fabian, S. Platt, T. Walsh, O. Thomas, and Mrs. T. Haines and Mrs. M. Dobson; club captain, Mr'- N. Brazendale; vice-club captain, Mr. C. Platt; hon. secretaries, Misses E. Cunningham and G. Thomas; hon. treasurer, Mr. F. Taylor; management committee, Misses A. McNeill and J. Dobson, Messrs. W. Reedy and S. Haines; hon. auditor, Mrs. Meachen; trustees, Miss O. McMillan, Mrs. Meachen, and Miss A. McNeill; delegates to H.V.L.T.S.A., Mr. J. Annear and Mr. W. Reedy.
