DOMINION CHAMPIONSHIPS

GREYMOUTH, September 10.

Two titles were lost at the New Zealand boxing championships, which were continued this afternoon and tonight, Boswell, middleweight, and Maddern, flyweight, being eliminated.

Huzzif (Taranaki) showed stamina to beat Denny, arid Purdy gained a'meritorious win over Cadwallader.' The Heeney-Davis contest was an excellent one. Allen fully extended Mclvor in the middleweight bout in a hard contest. Withell showed good judgment! and a powerful left in beating Hayes and McHugh. Sheridan proved one of the most scientific boxers of the evening in a good bout with Maddern. McKay showed excellent attacking ability to beat Bridge.
