Italian and German, subsidies, on. overseas commerce are seripusly menacing British and. American trade with Argentina, declares the Anglo-Argen-tine Bureau in a communique. It is pointed out that Germany is securing an increasing share pi tlie Latin American market and. underselling British, goods. Italian woollen goods are challenging the British, and German firms are obtaining important public works contracts. German, sales of light cars to Argentina exceeded the British sales for 1936 for.the first-time.
