A message from Berlin states that the Minister of Economic Affairs, Dr. Schacht, has handed his resignation to Herr Hitler on account of his disapproval with the Nazi economic policy. The British United Press agency in Berlin says it is revealed that Dr.

Schacht recently sent a memorandum; to Herr Hitler demanding measures for the stimulation of exports -and the diversion of more raw materials to manufactures v instead of re-armament and public works. It is not known whether the resignation affects Dr. Schacht's occupancy of the presidency of the Reichsbank.
