JOINT CONTROL SCHEME

The Minister of ExternSl Affairs, Sir George Pearce, stated in the Senate that definite progress had been made with the scheme for the establishment of the trans-Tasman air service under the joint control of the United Kingdom, Australian, and New Zealand Governments. It was not possible, however, to say whether the servjee would be in operation by December.
