The semi-finals for the Silver King Cup were completed at Belmont - on Sunday and resulted in Awdry beating E. Kilmister, 1 up, and Corson beating Black, 3 and 2. The final between Corson and Awdry over 36 holes will be played next Sunday. A bogey competition on Sunday wss won by R.. Kilmister, 3 up. Other scores were: N. Rudman, 2 iip; E. Kilmister and Corson, 1 up; Rose ; - all square; Kyle, 1 down; J. Rudman, Shannon, Black, and Smith, 2 down. R. Kilmister, playing on a 19-14 handicap, covered the- course in 74, and as a result has had his handicap reduced to 13-10.
