LONG TERM IN OFFICE

Mr. J. E. Gleadow has resigned his position as secretary of the Napier Park Racing Club, after completing a period of service extending over 34 years. Mr. Gleadow succeeded the late Mr. A. Danvers to the secretaryship of the club in 1903 and has held office ever since, rendering excellent service to the club and proving himself an untiring and conscientious officer. _ A long association with the sporting world has been enjoyed by Mr. Gleadow, who in his earlier days wis one of the leading members of' the Napier Rifles.
