FIT BUT TIRED

SPRINGBOKS IN DUNEDIN

TEAM FOR TOMORROW

(By Tcleeraph—Press Association.)

DUNEDIN, September 9.

The Springboks arrived at Dunedin this evening to play the thirteenth match.of the New Zealand tour against Otago on Saturday. They were received informally by the Mayor and the president of the Otago Rugby Union, Dr. Arnold Perry, who played for Otago in the match against the 1921 team.

The manager, Mr. P. W. Day, said that his team was thoroughly fit. There had been no further casualties and players injured early in the tour had made a good recovery. "Invercargill was the. turning point of the tour," he said. "The players are very tired and they will not be sorry to be homeward bound."

There is every indication that conditions will be very much to the Springboks' liking o.u Saturday. After a spell of dry weather Carisbrook is very fast, arid a fine day is all that is needed to make .the tourists feel completely at home.

Following are the teams: —

Springboks.—Brand; Turner, Williams, Hofmeyr, Babrow, Lochner; van der Vyver; Craven; Bergh; van Reenah, Bastard, dv Toit, van den Berg, M. Louw, Lotz, Jennings. One three-quarter is to be omitted.
