BLOCKADE OF CHINA
WARNING TO FOREIGN SHIPS

SHANGHAI, September 8. China has informed the Powers that she will retaliate to the Japanese blockade by bombing Japanese ships from the air, and therefore advise incoming foreign vessels to give the war area in the vicinity of Shanghai a wide berth. ' All six coaches of the train which, was bombed at ■Sungkiang were destroyed, fragments of humanity beinst scattered everywhere..
