RELATIONS BROKEN
FARR AND MANAGER
BOXER MAY RETIRE
NEW YORK, September 8. Ted Broadribb, manager of the British heavyweight boxer, Tommy Farr,. announced the severance of his relations with Farr. "11l feeling reached the point where the fighter threatened to punch my nose last Friday," the manager said. He added that he had not received his share of the purse, which was 10,000 dollars, and was appealing to the State Boxing Commission or would bring a Broadribb said he was trying to sell a contract for Farr's management to F-me other promoter. _ Commenting on disputes, that have arisen since his bout with Joe Louis, concerning contracts and purses, Farr said- "I have suffered^ only mental anguish and discomforts over the way the boxing game at present is being run I have saved enough to hve m luxury for the rest of my life, and am seriously considering retiring and not fighting again."
