ENGINEER'S DEATH
EXPLOSION ON THE SYDNEY
STAR

LONDON, September 7.
In an explosion, which occurred off Las Palmas, in the engine-room of the Sydney Star en route from Australia to London, an engineer, Mr. Mawdsley, was fatally injured. The vessel is proceeding to London.
