ANNUAL DOG SHOW

HUTT VALLEY KENNEL CLUB

The fourth annual show of the Hutt Valley Kennel Club-was opened in the Horticultural Hall, Lower Hutt, this afternoon. The show is the finest yet produced by the club, the entries being iri excess of previous years and the quality of the dogs outstanding. A special feature ,of the' show is the facility given to exhibit the dogs to advantage, the animals being graded in size from alsatians to pomeranians.

Blood-hounds are being shown for the first time and borzios are well represented. A new feature is the section comprising the coronation stakes, an entirely new departure in dog shows. There are 130 entries and £105 in prize money for this section, in which there are seven sub-sections, giving scope for entries for all classes and ages of dogs. The show will continue tonight and tomorrow afternoon and evening. •
