Strickland, 2 and 1. _ In the intermediate championship L. carr beat L. Hayes 2 and 1, and in the junior J. Dunn beat J. Leckie, 4 and 2. i In the semi-final of Jthe Whitaker clock mixed foursomes, E. 1 arrant and Mrs. W. A. Simpson defeated H. Dodson and Mrs. T. A. Dodson, 2 and 1. Next Saturday a medal round for the Ancell Trophy will be held and on Sunday a bogey and a fourball best-ball competition.
