An anticyclone Is now approaching across the Tasraan Sea with Its centre over the northern portion. Tho weather lias been rather unsettled \rlth scattered light rain in most districts, but East Capo reports .having hail as .much .as 1"4 points. During yesterday winds . were moderate and somewhat variable, but by this morning westerlies or south-ivesterlles were prevailing and winds had Increased In force, especially is the far north and on the east coast of the South I Island.
