SYDNEY, September 7,
At the wool sales 11,693 bales were offered, 9747 sold, and 1232 privately. There was an improved demand today, with increased competition from Yorkshire and the Continent, and also the United States on suitable wools. Prices for all well-grown fleece wools and skirtings were very firm at the previous day's levels. Greasy merino made to 24d.
