LECTURES AT GALLERY

On Saturday, at 2.30 p.m., two short lectures will be given in the National Art Gallery in connection with the exhibition of engravings belonging to Lord Galway. Mr. A. D. Carbery will speak on the history of engraving and engravers, and he will be followed by Mr. R. Hipkins, who Will describe the processes. used in engraving. These lectures will be free and will assist the public in their appreciation of and interest in the exhibition. The exhibition of British printing, which includes some very fine posters, will also be open to the public free on Saturday afternoon.
