ACCIDENTS REDUCED

AUCKLAND CITY

(By Telegraph—Press Association.)

AUCKLAND, This Day.

"You are evidently keeping speeds down, with the exception of one or two cases," said Mr. Wyvern Wilson, S.M., when dealing with offences 'of speeding in the Magistrate's Court today.

"If we are able to get a 30-mile limit observed generally accidents will decrease," replied Mr. Brand, city traffic superintendent. "Our records show that accidents in the city have been reduced by nearly half this year as compared with the corresponding months of last year."

The list of traffic prosecutions today was much below the average.
