SPRINGBOKS' TOUR

TODAY'S MATCH

GROUND HEAVY

(By Telegraph—Press Association.)

INVERCARGILL, This Day.

There was a change in the weather overnight when a storm prevailed, making the ground heavy for today's match between the Springboks and Southland. There is no further change in the Southland team, but it is understood that Lochner will replace Hofmeyr in the Springboks' team, the latter being essentially a dry-ground player.

The visitors were taken on a tour of the district yesterday, and last night was spent at a picture show. This morning they visited Oreti Beach.

The weather outlook in the forenoon was uncertain, but nevertheless large crowds from all parts of the province are in Invereargill to see the match, which promises to be a forward struggle.
