LEAGUE TO FIGHT SOCIAL CREDIT

EDMONTON (Alberta), Sept. 7.
Eighty prominent citizens led by General Griesbach, a former member of the House of Commons, intend to launch a United Canada League' to fight the' Social Credit movement through broadcasts and mass meetings. The instruction given by Major Douglas to the Premier (Mr.. W. Aberhart) to enact a Press Control Act is denounced as a "dastardly attempt at Fascism." . ; ■
