MILBURN LIME & CEMENT

DUNEDIN, This Day. The annual report of the Milburn Lime and Cement Company states that the profit and loss account shows a credit of £24,920, including £8600 carried forward from last year. An interim dividend of 3J per cent, was paid in March, amounting to £7500, leaving a balance of £17,420 to be dealt with.
The directors recommend that the balance be appropriated as follows: — Payment of a dividend of 5 per cent, for the six months ended July 31, making 8$ per cent, for the year, £10,000, leaving a balance of £7420 to be carried forward.
Net profit for 1936 was £20,059 and the dividend 8} per cent.
