NEW SCHOOL BUILDING

AUCKLAND, This Day.
A grant for a modern primary school building on the four-acre, site of the new Government housing settlement at Orakei having been approved by the Department, the Education Board. has had the plans prepared. The building will be of the open-air type and single storeyed, except in the centre where an upper storey will be reserved for a teachers' common room. There will be ten classrooms for approximately 450 pupils. '
