JAPANESE SHIP AT SEATTLE (Received September 6, 11 a.m.) SEATTLE, September 5. Thirty-four Chinese seamen deserted from the '■ Japanese freighter China Exporter. They said they wanted to fight for China and were afraid of their Japanese officers.
