Dow compiled six centuries and notched the highest individual scoring innings during the season Apart from Dow, W..T. Harris (Gasco) N. C. Gates (Star Stores), and T. Meade (Gasco) all got within striking distance of the 1000 mark. N. C. Gates (Star Stores) was the outstand ing all-rounder, although N. B. Aldridge's figures were no less impressive, gained as they were in the top grade Of the bowlers, E. R. Jeffery (Woolworths), R. Stevenson (Amalgamated Bricks), A. B. Willis (U.L.M.), E. M McCardell (Advances), W. Day (Seatoun), 1 R. Hawkes (Advances), and C. Webster "(Shipping), deserve special mention because of the remarkable averages they gained." , Some interesting particulars of performances in the various grade com petitions are also included in the report.
