The Kahutea Club" put on a competition for, secondary school boys, in which some: good cards were rjut in. Al! played oh a 36 handicap. The best cards were:—Dane Howard, net 76; George Pearce, 77; Keith Stone,; 85; Ron Corder, 100. ■ ■.. The- ladies' hidden-hole competition was won by Mrs. N. Thomson, a stroke ahead of Miss M. Farrant.: The men's, medal: compe'titibn resulted in three strokes difference covering the thrpe best cards, as follows: :-- E W Pearce, 86, 18—68; W. Longhurst, 88. 19—69; G. Little, 94/24—70.
