IMPORTED CATTLE
INTEREST IN LOCAL SALE
An important sale of imported Aberdeen Angus cattle was held yesterday by Wright, Stephenson and Co., Ltd., in their wool store at Pipitea, Wellington. . ■
The offering comprised 20 head, 10 bulls and 10 females, being the second shipment of Aberdeen Angus cattle arranged by Mr. Wayland Hopley, past president of the American Aberdeen Angus Breeders' Association and president of the Wayland Hopley Farms. The shipment arrived at Wellington from New York on June 26 and has since completed the customary period of quarantine. The animals were representative of seven of the greatest Aberdeen Angus herds in the United States, the majority coming from the famous Wayland Hopley Farms, Atlantic, lowa.
