Twins have often been attacked at exactly the same time by the ?ame illness even when grown up and living fat from one another. Francis Galton has recorded the case of twins aged 23, who suffered from toothache. Each had 'to have exactly the same tooth extracted. In another report by Francis Galton, he mentions the frequent similarity of twins' ideas and describes the case of brother A, who, while travelling in Scotland, saw a set of champagne glasses which he bought as a surprise for his brother B. At the same time brother B was travelling in England and he bought another set of exactly the same pattern to surprise brother A on his return home,
