CHILLED BEEF EASIER

The frozen lamb market is very firm with all prices higher, according to the weekly cabled report received from. London by the New. Zealand Meat Producers' Board. Consumption continues to be excellent. Wethers are firm owing to short spot stocks. Ewes are steady. Frozen beef is quiet, with prices unchanged. Chilled beef is slightly easier this week owing to heavy supplies and muggy weather. For New Zealand porker pigs trade is slow but firm. Baconers are steady, with prices unchanged. The following are the wholesale prices on the London market on Thursday, with the average chilled b-»ef prices for the week.
