THE SAME OLD TABLE!
It is most unfortunate that the official register of racing in the Dominion should not be an accurate record, aa much reliance hu to be placed on Its contents. The table of time record* alone in the latest "Turf Register" give* antiquated figures, long since bettered,, for 4i furlongs, 5J furlongs, 11 Mrlongs, and 2 miles. Even Wotan's record in the last Melbourne Cup is apparently unknown to the compilers of the register!
