BEBE WITTS-BURT
GOOD PROGRESS REPORTED
The committee of the Bebe WitlsBurt Gift Fund has received the following report from Madame Lydia Kyasht, the teacher of Bebe Witts-Burt in London: "Bebe is still making steady progress, and I fell that she is ready to take a principal 'part in my next studio production. She will be principal in Tchaikovsky's 'Belle au Bois Dormant.' Bebe has a very busy time in the studio as she takes all the subjects. The professor of music finds her an apt pupil and I am pleased with this particular report, because it is very necessary for a dancer to have a thorough understanding of music. On June 5 she appeared in a show the studio gave for the League of Nations garden party, and everyone was enchanted with her work, especially with the 'Dance Tartar,' which she executed with tremendous success. She is very happy in my academy, and we all like her very much."
